DESCRIPTION:This information session is in-person on the MCC campus during the open house. \nInformation regarding pre-reqs\, the admissions process\, the entrance exam\, academic requirements (nursing and general education)\, and competitive ranking is covered in detail during the session. Participants will receive the necessary paperwork to apply for admission and will have the opportunity to ask questions. A follow up individual appointment may be scheduled if necessary. \n\nThere is no fee to attend and registration is not required.\nThe information session starts promptly at the posted time.\nPlease be a few minutes early as late arrivals will not be accommodated.\n\nStudents may complete the RN program on a part time basis\, however\, nursing and clinical components must be completed concurrently. Students graduate with an Associate degree of Science in Nursing and are eligible to take the RN state board exam. Students may continue on to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at various four-year nursing programs.
