DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 4th Annual Archaeology & Anthropology Expo! \nThe Social Science program will host the 4th annual “Sifting Through Time: Archaeology & Anthropology Expo.” on Tuesday\, April 2nd from 11am to 2pm in the MPR. \nProfessional anthropologists\, archaeologists\, and current MCC students will be holding table presentations and interactive activities. The New Hampshire Archeological Society will demonstrate flintknapping and atlatl throwing (weather dependent). We will also be exhibiting Exploring Human Origins: What Does It Mean To Be Human?\, a walkthrough poster exhibit organized by the Smithsonian Institution Do-It-Yourself Exhibition in collaboration with the Museum. This event is free to the public and would be a great opportunity for students and others to learn more about anthropology and archaeology. \nFor more information contact Kim Kulesza.

DESCRIPTION:ARCH Bowl History Game Coming to MCC \nDo you have a penchant for history? Do you enjoy trivia games? MCC will be hosting the first-ever ARCH (American Revolution and Constitutional History) Bowl at MCC on Friday\, April 5\, 2024. \nThis contest was made possible through a legacy grant by the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) and we hope it will become an annual competition between the CCSNH college campuses. The event will run from noon to approximately 8 PM and consist of preliminary rounds and a final round of competition in a Jeopardy-style game format. Each campus in the CCSNH system will be allowed to enter one student team into the competition. \nContact Laura Bilodeau or Kim Kulesza for more information.

DESCRIPTION:In an effort to provide you with the most current and comprehensive information about our programs\, we require prospective nursing students attend a Nursing Information Session.* \nThis Information Session is Live and In-Person on the MCC Campus. \nInformation regarding pre-reqs\, the admissions process\, the entrance exam\, academic requirements (nursing and general education)\, and competitive ranking is covered in detail during the session. Participants will receive the necessary paperwork to apply for admission and will have the opportunity to ask questions. A follow up individual appointment may be scheduled if necessary. \n\nThere is no fee to attend and registration is not required.\nThe information session starts promptly at the posted time.\nPlease be a few minutes early as late arrivals will not be accommodated.\n\nStudents may complete the RN program on a part time basis\, however\, nursing and clinical components must be completed concurrently. Students graduate with an Associate degree of Science in Nursing and are eligible to take the RN state board exam. SUMMARY:Dramatic Flair Performs "Bystander 9/11"
DESCRIPTION:“Bystander 9/11 – A Theatre Piece Concerning the Events of September 11\, 2001” is a one-act docudrama by Meron Langsner.  The powerful script is based on his recollection of events he and other New Yorkers experienced during the September 11th attacks and their aftermath. \nThe first performance will begin as a part of the Humanities Symposium at 2:30 in the MPR. We will perform the first 15 minutes of the piece and offer the second half at 3:30.  The full show will be performed at 7:00 pm in Room 126. The entire show runs approximately 30-40 minutes.

Students graduate with an Associate degree of Science in Nursing and are eligible to take the RN state board exam. At ASD you will be able to register for classes\, make sure you are logged into important student accounts\, learn about how to pay for college\, start your FAFSA\, and of course pick up some exclusive swag for your fall semester! \nAlso included in this event are workshops about Accessibility Services (for students who have 504 or IEP plans)\, completing the 2024/25 FAFSA\, and new for this summer\, learn how you could be eligible for up to two free summer courses (classes starting in May and June).
