DESCRIPTION:Care Kits to Provide basics for Women in Crisis\nStudent Senate has accepted the 80 for 80 Club Challenge by assembling 80 Care Kits for Light of Life in Manchester. Their mission is to serve women who have experienced abuse\, sexual trauma and exploitation. The kits will be used for their street outreach efforts right here in Manchester. Senate is collecting toiletries (toothbrushes\, small toothpastes\, deodorant\, hand sanitizers\, wet wipes\, nail clippers\, ChapStick\, feminine hygiene products\, travel sized shampoo\, lotion\, soap\, comb/small brushes and new socks) to create Care Kits. Want to help? Collection boxes are in the Student Center\, the Learning Commons and outside the Senate office (309) March 10th-April 7th. Financial donations are also welcome – cash/checks to MCC and given to Aileen Clay in Student Life. \nAll are Welcome to join in the Day of Action: Assembling the Care Kits\, and writing notes of encouragement for each kit. Wednesday\, April 8th\, beginning at 1 PM in the Student Center. That is the final drop off day/time.
