MCC Veterans Center and Club

MCC Vets mission is to establish a veteran friendly environment at MCC as well as to promote MCC to veterans who are looking to further their education. They assist veterans in taking full advantage of their education benefits, and they lend support to local Veteran’s organizations.

MCC has a Veterans Center, in Room #264. This provides provides a safe environment on campus for all MCC students who are current or former military members, their spouses, and their dependents to study, relax, refresh, and socialize.

Another on-campus activity is the Veterans Club, an organization that enables veterans to network, share experiences and volunteer. Fee free to join and participate! Both the Veterans Center and the Veterans Club are open to all!

For more information about any of these resources, contact Advisors Kristen Butterfield-Ferrell or Jessica Poznanski-Anderson

You can learn even more about the Veterans Center and other veteran resources on the Student Life section of the Nighthawk Lookout — a resource for enrolled MCC students.

A VITAL Partnership

Veterans Integration to Academic Leadership (VITAL) is a partnership with the Manchester VA Medical Center, serving MCC Veterans.

The VITAL Initiative is a partnership between the VA Medical Center and local colleges and universities. It’s the VA’s approach to reaching out to Student Veterans to help facilitate the transition from Service member to Student. VITAL can help you navigate your needs and concerns and maximize your unique set of strengths, skills, and life experiences as you develop and translate your interests and talents into an academic setting.
