Associate Degree in Nursing (RN) Program
Nursing courses and clinical components must be completed concurrently. Students graduate with an Associate Degree of Science in Nursing (ASN) and are eligible to take the NCLEX-RN Exam. Students may continue on to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at various four-year nursing programs.
LPN Program (through River Valley Community College)
Working with River Valley Community College, MCC is offering a licensed practical nursing (LPN) program in Manchester to help meet the increased workforce needs for skilled nurses.
LPN to RN Option
PLEASE NOTE: The Nursing Department has postponed the LPN to RN option for summer 2025.
LPN to RN option for currently licensed LPNs only who want to advance their education and graduate with an Associate Degree of Science in Nursing.
The college anticipates offering the LPN to RN option again in summer 2026. For previous summer 2025 applicants wishing to apply for the summer 2026 cohort (applications available after May 1, 2025), the Office of Admissions will honor your current passing NACE scores and references currently on file with us.
Pathway for NH’s Future Nurses Option (FPU)
A partnership between MCC, Franklin Pierce University (FPU) and Elliot Health Systems; students enroll in courses that meet the requirements of both colleges during their first 3 years at MCC, receive their ASN from MCC and are eligible to take the NCLEX-RN Exam. Students then complete their Bachelor degree in Nursing through FPU online courses during the fourth year. Students must be able to complete full time coursework including summers.
