About the Academic Course Schedule
The academic course schedule is used by students, faculty and staff to locate information about courses offered during a specific enrollment period. The schedule allows you to search and sort content by academic program or degree, and to see the list of classes available in each session. It also provides detailed course information used in registration, including course descriptions, course numbers, class dates and times, locations (Online/Hybrid/In Person, etc.) and other important information.
Class Types and Locations
MCC Flex Courses provide students with both in-person and online options of attending. Courses that are Flex will have a Section designation (3rd column from the left) that begins with SB. Students should contact their program advisors for specific information regarding the Flex course meeting schedule.
Hybrid courses meet for specific times and days, but also require students to complete work independently online. The Hybrid listing shows under the time of the course.
Courses that list a time and day, with no other listing are held in person at MCC, or a predetermined off-campus site.
Courses with no day or time listed that show “Online” in the time columns are offered through Canvas. Students complete work online within required deadlines, but without being required to meet during a specific time or day.
Courses that have a day or time listed, and then underneath the time it says Online. These courses require students to log on during the listed day and time through an online meeting tool such as Zoom.
