Professor Perrotta joined MCC as full-time faculty in 2017, then took on the role as Chair of Nursing and Allied Health in Fall 2021. She discovered her love of teaching as an adjunct clinical instructor at MCC while she was working on her Master’s degree in Nursing Leadership and Management.

Kim worked as an RN at Parkland Medical Center from 2012-2018, and worked alongside Parkland’s Chief Nursing Officer and leadership team during her Master’s practicum. Her practicum project, “Delirium is NOT a Behavior Problem,” was presented at the 2017 NICHE (Nurses Improving Care of Healthsystem Elders) Conference.
