Professor Bilodeau has held various positions that help to enhance her teaching of social sciences, including Full-Time Police Officer, Adolescent Program Coordinator for chemically dependent youth, Impaired Driver Intervention Facilitator, and District-wide (K-12) Student Assistance Counselor. She is a Certified Prevention Specialist and owner of the Boomerang Institute for Prevention and Early Intervention. She designed Boomerang, a program for first time offenders of underage drinking laws that has been well received by various community groups and governing organizations in New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts.

Professor Bilodeau’s areas of expertise include chemical dependency, substance abuse, violence and suicide prevention, relapse prevention, health psychology and wellness, and adolescent issues. She is passionate about the overall health of children and adolescents and the need to create a healthy environment and future for all.
