Message from President Bicknell

As we wrap up 2021 and look forward to celebrating the holidays with family and friends, I want to thank you for being an important part of the MCC community. I continue to have the utmost faith in our community to foster a positive educational environment that ardently supports student success.

Supporting student success means providing the tools to enhance learning — whether that’s a scholarship, WiFi hotspot or tutoring. I’m so proud that our community understands that students are individuals with real-life challenges, and with your commitment, we helped students meet those challenges.

Looking back on 2021, students and educators returned to in-person classes, in conjunction with hybrid and remote classes, to maximize health and safety and provide flexible learning options. Even Student Life activities returned to campus. We got back in the game with an in-person outdoor commencement at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium, where one of the year’s healthcare heroes addressed our graduates.

I look forward to building upon the perseverance and commitment our community has exhibited. Here’s to a healthy, Happy New Year!
